Time to Roll Up Our Sleeves...and Print Some Money

Clinton's economic clit tickler (one word or two?) now bigger and better:

'The Democratic presidential hopeful, on a two-day swing through this key Feb. 5 primary state, called on Congress to work with the White House to pass a $70 billion "immediate jump-start" to help people spend more money in the market and perhaps follow with another $40 billion in tax refunds.'

I'm lazy so I'll just let Say speak for me:

'[T]hat the encouragement of mere consumption is no benefit to commerce; for the difficulty lies in supplying the means, not in stimulating the desire of consumption; and we have seen that production alone, furnishes those means. Thus, it is the aim of good government to stimulate production, of bad government to encourage consumption.'
